Lil Wayne is to face a maximum sentence of one year in jail just like southern rapper T.I. He is supposedly going to serve eight months in prison for the crime. He pleaded guilty to the charges October 22, 2009 after previously pleading innocent but changed his plea to avoid going to trial which could have had him end up in prison for 3 1/2 years. This charge comes from a police officer finding a .40 caliber handgun inside Wayne's tour bus in 2007. Lil Wayne also faces charges of drug possession in 2008 when he was arrested at U.S. Border Patrol Checkpoint in Arizona.
-Well I know I have to stop listening to the radio. Do I smell an immense amount of Lil' Wayne tributes I believe so. Well good luck Wayne on your career I'm sure this will just add to his publicity and will add to his street cred. Aw man what people think is cool these days.
