Erykah Badu Charged With Disorderly Conduct

There has been a lot of publicity surrounding Erykah Badu, mainly from her controversial music video "Window Seat." The video is of Erykah Badu walking down a street and as the video proceeds she removes more and more of her clothing. Then, eventually she becomes completely naked. The video ends with her getting shot in the head in the same spot President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963. Today, she was charged with disorderly conduct with a fine of $500.

*Honestly, she deserved it. I'm not saying I don't like the video but, think about those psycho parents that go nuts if their child were to see things like that. It's not like she doesn't have the money to pay it off.

Also, she said that Lady Gaga's video was inconsiderate to the audience because of some of the nudity and violence however, how can she judge when she put this out. This video is as accessible as Telephone. I like the song, and I appreciate the message however I don't like that she contradicts herself with this video.

theres a WAAAAAYYY deeper meaning to this but the point is she is unrestricted to societies bounds. trust and believe there are artist that suffer to the point where they'd do this unconsciously.

I understand the meaning of the video & where she is coming from but what she said about Lady Gaga was wow. Both artists are talented but you have to watch what you say & where your coming from. Plus her video has a deeper meaning and much more sensitive then Lady Gaga's Telephone.
