Since I'm 18 I wasn't as immersed in that G-Funk when it first came out, but it did effect me and my outlook on Hip Hop. My uncle used to play ATCQ, Jay-Z, Nate & practically anything that was really making noise in the 90s I didn't have a paticular interest for it, but it gave me a good outline for what Hip Hop was. Now today a little bit of a decade later and I'm one of the biggest hip hop fans you can find. Nate, Snoop, Daz, DJ Quik, Dre & all of those real West Coast cats really bought the West Coast a seat at the table of Hip Hop. As I say on with every time we remember someone who passed. We shouldn't focus on their death, but focus on their life. I know myself I have a little Nate on my Blackberry 2gb I shall listen to nothing but that G-Funk!
