Nas & Pusha T Performing In Chicago [Video]

Last night, Heineken hosted a show at the House of Blues in Chicago to begin their 2012 Red Star Access concert series with performances by DJ Kiss, Pusha T, Nas. In the first video above us we got Nas performing some Illmatic classics "Represent" & "The World Is Yours." Anyone who knows me, knows that Illmatic is one of my favorite hip hop projects of all time. I woulda killed to be in there. Plus, Pusha T whom I've recently become fond of again. It was a great event.

"Loco-Motive" Nas featuring Large Professor [Track]

New song off Life Is Good. How do you guys feel about the minor old school direction Nas is taking on his new album?

"Daughters" Nas [Video]

Nas drops the video for his acclaimed single "Daughters". I think this video was cool, definitely got the point across (even though the song did plenty of that). Are you looking forward to Life Is Good?

"Ghetto Dreams" Common featuring Nas [Video]

This is the video I've been waiting for the most. I don't believe I need to explain why. Same thing with The Dreamer, The Believer. Yup.

Old School Song of the Day "The World Is Yours" by Nas

Since Fashawn's Ode to Illmatic dropped yesterday I've been bumping it all day I'm on my fifth time around listening to it. I just thought I should pay homage to Nasir Jones also. God Bless Your Life.

Levi’s® Pioneer Sessions | "Hey Young World" Nas

“Nas doesn’t possess Rick’s comic sensibility, but he did inherit from Rick a keen sense for the way precise detail and carefully chosen perspective can enrich a short story, the kind that populated Illmatic and his subsequent work. Nas’ re-crafting of “Hey Young World” is true to its source, though its harder, metallic edges suggest a bluntness caused by twenty-plus years without progress.”

Nas was ment to be on this track. I really am getting goosebumps listening to this. You can peep the full track below.

Nas Speaks on the Next Generation of Hip Hop

I respect the comparison but, Drake being the next Jay-Z. I think someone needs to slow that down. Drake cannot even compare lyrically to Reasonable Doubt Jay-Z. J. Cole can't either but, he is up there. Much closer than Drake.

"As We Enter" Nas and Damian Marley

They have done it again. I am REALLY excited for this album...dropping May 18th! Dope song...dope video...(although VERY Nas-Like lol) its all good. =D
